The House of B&B Velardi

The B&B is located in the outskirts of Viagrande, a small town near Etna which is rich in history and traditions; it was once a summer residence of the local nobility.
Its name comes from Vilardi, one of the oldest districts in Viagrande, which was almost completely destroyed by the 1693 earthquake.
The house is located just 5 minutes' walk from both the Chiesa Madre (Mother Church) and the delightful village of Viscalori. It is a typical Sicilian house of the late 1800s; its traditional architecture was respected during its recent restoration and it has large rooms with vaulted ceilings and thick walls of volcanic stone. The country-style furnishings, which have a slight ethnic touch, give the rooms a feeling of warmth and informality and Susanna, the hostess, will do everything else necessary to make her guests feel at home.

An environmentally friendly B&B

We believe in sustainable development and we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment. Thus we use solar energy during the day from the photovoltaic panels installed on the roof of the house and we are careful about our consumption of electricity, gas and water. We try not to overuse detergents and other pollutants and we offer organically produced products.
We hope that that our guests will assist us in this regard so that they become part of our commitment to a better future.
