The most important meal of the day, the one that gives us the energy to start our daily activities, must not be a hit and run but a moment of reunion, relaxation and pleasure.
In ancient times the Egyptians ate mainly cereals in the morning, accompanied by onion, the Greeks cereal biscuits cooked in ashes, olives and dried figs, the Etruscans milk with spelled or wheat, the Romans bread with garlic and cheese.
And from the wise habits of these ancient peoples today derives the Mediterranean Diet, a World Heritage Site, which provides for a balanced consumption of carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals, proteins and fats for breakfast.
To start the day well you can enjoy rich and genuine breakfasts, with seasonal, organic and 0 km products. Homemade bread baked in traditional stone ovens, jams and honey from organic farming, seasonal fruit from the Etna orchards, sweets with ancient grain flours and traditional pastries, Sicilian orange juice ... all served in a cozy living room in winter or, during the summer, in the shade of citrus trees in the garden.
On request we prepare vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free breakfasts.
In addition, for athletes we offer breakfasts tailored to their nutritional needs, depending on whether they have to carry out moderate or prolonged physical activity.
